Product Compliance Engineer

What You'll Do

• and Tasks • Support customer audits • Provide certification and information via external web site (micron.com) • Provide compliance certifications via Salesforce Customer Request • Create and provide Material Declarations for Micron Products • Collect product and corresponding product documentation • Send to certification body (UL, TUV) for analysis • Receive, maintain, and distribute certificates • Receive and submit external EMI test reports to governing bodies • Create and maintain Declarations of Conformity • Provide certifications per request • Review customer specifications against internal QA procedures • Create review notices with exceptions • Implement customer specific requirements as applicable • Collect and send material to be tested annually • Submit test results to interested parties • Escort third party auditors during onsite visits • Provide support and documentation and follow-up on variances • Coordinate and facilitate cost center payments through purchasing • Provide new Business Units with environmental requirements • Assist with questions related to implementation • Interpret industry regulatory requirements as they pertain to Micron products • Monitor changes through Compliance & Risk • Review legislative, industry, customer, and third party regulations Requirements Undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related areas of focus.
• Experience in semiconductors and semiconductor manufacturing is ideal.
