What You'll Do

  • Developing photo processes to meet the physical & electrical requirements of Micron’s products.
  • Optimizing photo processes to reduce cost, process variability, and improve process capability.
  • Lead a particular module within next generation storage device.
  • Develop new, manufacturing friendly photolithography processes that enable physical and electrical architecture with lithography technology, including 365nm, 248nm, and 193nm immersion lithography.
  • Engage with equipment and material vendors on new solutions to overcome process challenges.
  • Document and communicate plans, status, and results of projects in written reports and presentations.
  • Collaborating with process integration and other process development teams to develop innovative new solutions.
  • Conducting root cause and failure mode analysis to understand the limitations of current materials and hardware and driving vendors for solutions.
  • Maintaining a technology development pilot manufacturing line.
  • Support process transfer to production facilities (some domestic and/or international travel may be required).

Requirements

  • Ability to resolve complex issues through root-cause or model-based problem solving.
  • Working knowledge in statistics, preferably in statistical process control.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direction, and a focus on meeting commitments.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Data science and programming experience or coursework and familiarity with GenAI tools are strongly preferred.
  • Education : BS with 3+ years of relevant semiconductor experience (required) Preferred Qualifications: Able to thrive in a research and development environment.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong digital literacy, including MS Office.
