MTB INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER (FY28 NCG)

What You'll Do

• As an Industrial Engineer at Micron, your responsibilities will include: Capacity Planning (Tactical Period): Monitor short-term demand to identify capacity bottlenecks, ensuring accurate performance parameters (EPT, Utilization, output, cycle time, lot size).
• Review mitigation plans with owners and seek maximum activities for cost-saving.
• Follow up on tooling delivery.
• Capacity Planning (Strategy Period): Maintain parameter assumptions for long-term demand, determine capital and expense requirements to support business plans.
• Submit capital needs for review, follow the budget/funding cycle, and review TIQ progress with the Engineering team.
• Layout (Space) Planning: Arrange tool lists with necessary requirements (vibration, bay line, foundation), work with the facility team on utility needs, improve tool count in the fab, and inspect layout plans with tool owners.
• Tool Installation Coordination: Monitor TIQ to release tools for output, meeting TIQ criteria to adhere to output plans.
• Resource Optimization: Collaborate on prioritizing and arranging resources to meet output requirements.
• Requirements To successfully implement our ambitious plans, the ideal candidate will possess: A master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven knowledge and application of AI concepts to improve work loading and efficiency.
• Strong understanding of the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) cycle for capacity planning.
• Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration on cross-functional projects and tasks.
• Ability to strictly monitor and evaluate performance parameters to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
