Manager - SMAI ETD

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with 7+ years of professional software development experience and 2+ years in a people management or technical leadership role Strong technical background in: Object-oriented programming with production-level proficiency in C#, Python, Java, or similar.
• Software architecture design, system design, and scalability patterns.
• Relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in: Building, scaling, and managing high-performing engineering teams.
• Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and software delivery lifecycle management.
• Driving technical decisions and establishing engineering standards across a team.
• Hands-on experience with: Image processing, computer vision, or machine learning applied in real-world projects.
• Fullstack development including front-end frameworks (Angular/React/etc.) and backend services.
• Designing and building RESTful APIs and backend services at scale.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, present strategic plans to leadership, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
