What You'll Do
- an in-depth understanding of general device functionality specific to HBM products as well as schematics and signal integrity.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Design Engineering (DE) to conduct pre-silicon simulations to validate test strategies and circuits for Test.
- Provide feedback to DE, Test Engineering (TE), and others in Product Engineering (PE).
- Support pre-silicon checklist tasks and collaborate with TE to identify vital tester resources.
- Collaborate with TE and PE to adjust test programs for particular product needs to guarantee that silicon performance aligns with expectations.
- Support TE by aiding in test program debug, data analysis, and test development using AI assistants.
- Assist fabrication sites and process integration with test creation to improve effective process feedback.
- Debug and identify root causes for failures using test and experimental data, and electrical and physical analysis results.
- Use these results to modify existing testing strategies to improve product quality and enhance yield.
- Supervise yields to ensure they are meeting projections and expeditiously investigate root causes when they are not.
- Provide technical training and expertise, including on-the-job training for new engineers, assisting with data interpretation, acting as a product-specific point of contact, and attending technical seminars.
- Support the local team by building AI-powered tools crafted to advance processes and develop innovative, optimized test strategies and features.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and proven experience in a similar product engineering role.
- Education or experience in building Digital circuits, ASIC testing using scan tools, Python, and C programming.
- Custom BIST APG programming for memory testing.
- Experience with Linux operating system.
- Engage in hands-on bench testing of product to uncover issues and formulate tests.
Nice to Have
- High volume production data extraction and analysis using JMP and/or python.
- Provide assistance to fabrication sites and process integration through the creation of tests aimed at improving effective process feedback.
- Hands on bench testing of engineering hardware and Coordinated Circuits.
- Experience in Circuit simulations using spice and Verilog.
- Knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication process.
