FE Capital Supplier Manager

What You'll Do

• negotiating terms, conditions and pricing to leverage spend, leading and participating in department projects, serving as a primary contact for industry and supplier information, and acting as a procurement resource for other members within the organization.
• This position also requires that you serve as the primary point of contact for resolving critical supplier issues and coordinate internal communication.
• You will also collect, consolidate and present site data and feedback for supplier quarterly business reviews.
• Role Responsibility & Tasks Manage Supplier Relationship Act as primary point of contact for site suppliers Perform commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers Maintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while resolving supplier performance/capability issues Ensure suppliers comply with Micron's code-of-conduct programs and corporate social responsibility initiatives Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization Provide the voice of the supply base to Micron and provide the voice of Micron to the supply base Identify and Implement Supplier-Related Savings Levers Utilize data and should-cost models to drive cost improvement Serve as the subject matter expert for site suppliers sharing knowledge with key stakeholders Drive Negotiations with Suppliers for Sustaining Purchases Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals Coordinate with Category Sourcing Manager on global negotiations or lead site sourcing events / RFQ process.
• Develop a contract strategy for site suppliers and create, negotiate, monitor and enforce contracted terms and conditions Execute and manage the purchase of goods and services in accordance with negotiated terms and conditions.
• Maintain system records to enable inventory replenishment and support automated ordering processes.
• Ensure Supplier Performance Management Partner with the Category team and other sites to build comprehensive view of supplier performance Collect and relay site- specific priorities to suppliers Collaborate internally to drive and develop key performance measures/metrics for Strategic Suppliers and monitor supplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvement Lead in organizing and delivering on strategic supplier events, such as Quarterly Business Reviews Competencies Price of Entry – Must have at point of hire Teamwork Job Essential – Critical to role; can be developed over time or may have at point of hire Negotiating Planning Process Management Business Acumen Decision Quality Problem Solving Global Focus Area – Characteristics required for being successful in the global setting Cross-Cultural Resourcefulness Skills The following are the key functional skills supporting the success of the Site Capital Supplier Manager role.
