ENGINEER- Process Dev - Diffusion / Cell films / Ion Implant

About This Role

• Micron’s Singapore Process Development (PD) team within Technology Development (TD) is seeking a talented engineer to lead process development in Oxidation, Diffusion, Cell Films, and Ion Implant for advanced NAND Flash technologies.
• You will drive innovation in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) , Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition (LPCVD) , and Ion impl antation processes , supporting the development and transfer of innovative semiconductor nodes.
• Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize processes for Oxidation, Diffusion, Cell Films, and Ion Implant to meet product specifications and program timelines.
• Characterize and fix thin film processes using advanced metrology and analysis tools.
• Lead experiments using statistical methods (DOE, SPC) to improve process capability and reduce variability.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams including Integration, Metrology, Surface Characterization, Electrical Failure Analysis, Yield Enhancement, Manufacturing, and Equipment Vendors.
• Support technology transfer and ramp-up activities for new products across global manufacturing sites.
• Document process changes, maintain control systems, and ensure robust process performance.
• Manage technical projects and contribute to fundamental research initiatives.
• Provide weekend support for R&D pilot line operations when required.
• Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor process fundamentals, especially in thin film deposition and ion implantation.
• Experience in cleanroom process development and pilot line support is preferred.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for business and support global technology transfer.
