- Department Engineering (Multiple Functions) Project Title Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects across multiple functions and organisations , with project assignments aligned to business priorities and individual strengths.
- Project Description This internship supports engineering teams across Micron Singapore in improving manufacturing processes, equipment performance, yield, quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Successful candidates may be assigned to projects within Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Yield Engineering, Process Integration, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering functions.
- As multiple projects are available across different functions and organisations , shortlisted candidates will be introduced to the relevant project opportunities during the interview process and matched based on their technical background, interests, and business requirements.
- Where applicable, interns may utilise Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, automation technologies, advanced analytics, or digital manufacturing tools to improve engineering efficiency and decision-making.
- Objective of the Project Improve manufacturing processes and operational performance.
- Support equipment optimisation and reliability initiatives.
- Analyse production data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop engineering solutions to improve yield, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

- Project Scope Interns will analyse engineering and manufacturing data to identify opportunities for process , quality, yield, or equipment performance improvements.
- Interns will support engineering investigations, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Interns will develop data-driven recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and manufacturing performance.
- Interns will work with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement engineering solutions.
- Interns may leverage AI-enabled tools, automation solutions, or advanced analytics to improve engineering workflows.

- Develop practical problem-solving and analytical skills through real-world engineering projects.

- Skillsets Required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Excel, JMP, Minitab, Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar analytical tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, automation tools, or AI-enabled workflows is advantageous.
- Demonstrated interest in engineering, manufacturing, technology, and the semiconductor industry.
- Course of Interest Ideal candidates should be pursuing Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Duration of Period I deal candidates should be able to commit to a full time internship period of at least 4 months.
