Test Equipment Engineer Intern

What You'll Do

• Responsible for helping to maintain Advantest 93K and Teradyne Uflex testers and related hardware (Boards Sockets device kits).
• Provide tester, handler and prober and hardware support to Test, Product Engineering and Production Teams.
• Work with the Field Service Engineers from the various manufactures to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair the handlers and prober systems.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades as needed.
• Help to input and track request for new hardware request from the Product, Test and Production teams as well as to provide a solution to the current process.
• Work with vendors to obtain quotes for replace and spare parts.
• Work with other team members to resolve test equipment issues.
• Assist in performing calibration and Preventive Maintenance as needed Work to help drive future improvements to Marvell’s Test floor environment.
• Must be willing to work in a multi-tasking, fast pace, team oriented working environment.
• This is a full-time onsite position.
• What We're Looking For Working towards Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Basic understanding of hardware products, printed circuit boards, electronic manufacturing.
• Ability to organize technical information, summarize data and communicate clearly Comfortable working in a team environment and learning from team members across multiple disciplines.
• Basic PC skills with Microsoft office suite.
• Coursework or project experience related to the design and repair of electronics, circuits, electromechanical systems, manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux operating and networking skills and inventory control systems is a plus.
• Internships in the semiconductor field is a plus Expected Base Pay Range (USD) 22 - 44, $ per hour.
• The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
• The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
