Requirements

  • Strong hands‑on soldering skills, including fine‑pitch SMT rework.
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits and PCB schematics.
  • Experience using standard lab equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, power supply).
  • Ability to manage lab organization, inventory, and procurement processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
  • Willingness to learn new technical skills in both electrical and optical domains.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an engineering lab environment.
  • Knowledge of PCB bring‑up, hardware validation workflows, or EVK assembly.
  • Familiarity with optical fiber handling, connector cleaning, or optical measurement tools.
  • Experience with fiber splicing (fusion or mechanical) is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of optical communication systems or photonics concepts.
  • Exposure to high‑speed or digital communication systems.
  • Familiarity with mechanical design or mechanical fixture work (e.g., mounting hardware, brackets, test fixtures).
  • Familiarity with operations involving the chiller and compressed dry air systems used in lab equipment and thermal management setups.

  • Expected Base Pay Range (USD) 74,670 - 111,900, $ per annum The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
