Warehousing and Distribution Leader (m/f/d)

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. 10–15 years of experience in warehousing, distribution, transportation, and logistics operations.
• Proven proficiency in warehousing, logistics, transportation, and trade operations in Germany and the European Union.
• Hands-on experience managing warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and operational performance management.
• Experience managing 3PLs, warehouse operators, or outsourced logistics service providers through structured KPIs and service governance.
• Experience participating in warehouse design, startup, relocation, expansion, automation, or operational readiness projects.
• Strong understanding of warehouse layout, material flow, storage methods, process standardization, cycle counting, and capacity planning.
• Working knowledge of EU logistics regulations, cross-border distribution, customs brokerage interfaces, and trade-related operational requirements.
• German proficiency at professional/native level (mandatory).
• English proficiency at professional/native level (mandatory).
• Willingness and ability to travel within the European Union to support site reviews, audits, project activities, and operational governance.
• Preferred Qualifications Experience in the semiconductor, capital equipment, electronics, high-tech manufacturing, or field service logistics environment.
• Experience supporting Service Distribution Centers or spare parts logistics operations serving customer support organizations.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP, WMS, TMS, warehouse automation platforms, and logistics analytics tools.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 6S, value stream mapping, Gemba walks, or other operational excellence methodologies.
• Exposure to Mega-Hub, co-location, consolidation, or regional warehouse network optimization initiatives.
