Senior Lead, CMDB Engineer

Requirements

• Work experience of 7-10 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years 7+ years working with ServiceNow CMDB in medium to large enterprises supporting 10,000 users+ Strong understanding of: ServiceNow data model, CI classes and relationships, discovery patterns & probes, Service Mapping and dependency mapping Expertise in creating and managing data taxonomy, CI lifecycle, and inventory processes.
• Proven experience in integrating CMDB with infrastructure, cloud, and endpoint systems.
• Strong skills in data quality management, reconciliation rules, and governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of SACM (Service Asset and Configuration Management) best practices Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and its relationship with CMDB.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Experience building dashboards using ServiceNow Performance Analytics or similar tools.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and application of AI in IT operations (e.g., anomaly detection, classification, enrichment).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive change across diverse technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
