What You'll Do
- In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.
- The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and testing semiconductor chemical metrology tools to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company quality standards.
- This role involves hands-on evaluation of complex electromechanical systems, including mechanical assemblies, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and microprocessor-based electrical controllers and wiring.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and experienced in identifying defects, documenting results, and supporting continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
- Inspect, test, and evaluate incoming parts, subassemblies, and fully assembled semiconductor metrology tools.
- Identify mechanical defects including issues with pneumatic systems, hydraulics, fittings, valves, and mechanical assemblies.
- Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, including controllers, wiring harnesses, sensors, power supplies, and microprocessor-based control units.
- Verify compliance with engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and rulers.
- Perform functional testing and verification of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Accept or reject materials and finished products based on inspection results.
- Clearly document inspection and test results; maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports.
- Quarantine and manage nonconforming materials in accordance with quality procedures.
- Communicate inspection findings and corrective actions with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.
- Support supplier quality by managing incoming inspections, vendor quality communications, and returns.
- Track and report quality metrics including rejected material, failure trends, and vendor performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve product reliability, quality, and inspection efficiency.

- Total Rewards Base Pay Range: $23.03 - $34.00 Per Hour
