- The Facilities Development Engineer role is part of the FCO FOK Tool Design team within this group, focusing on designing and implementing structural solutions tailored to Intel's advanced tool installations.
- This team supports Intel's broader mission by enabling seamless manufacturing operations through robust facilities infrastructure design.
- Key Responsibilities - Design and oversee the development of steel pedestal structures for permanent fab foundations supporting 300MM manufacturing tools. - Utilize CAD modeling tools, such as Revit or AutoCAD, to create and refine structural layouts in compliance with US building codes such as ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC. - Pilot and refine innovative construction practices by designing, executing, and analyzing engineering experiments. - Collaborate with suppliers to qualify and improve facilities equipment and systems aligned with manufacturing requirements. - Develop and maintain Intel Master Design Specifications (IMDS) and operations documentation for facilities infrastructure. - Partner with internal stakeholders and global supply chain teams to facilitate smooth technology transfers and equipment startup processes. - Perform operational analysis to optimize efficiency, energy use, and safety protocols within facilities infrastructure.
- This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field with hands-on experience in structural design gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training OR a Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field with no prior professional experience. - Proficiency in CAD modeling tools, such as Revit or AutoCAD, or equivalent programs. - Familiarity with US building codes, including ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC. - Strong technical writing skills for specifications and engineering documentation.

- Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $89,010.00-125,660.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
