About This Role

  • As a Module Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and ensuring manufacturing excellence at Intel.

  • Key Responsibilities: - Own and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes to meet safety, quality, and cost goals. - Conduct tests and measurements of equipment operations to ensure critical dimension control and defectivity standards. - Recommend and implement modifications to improve production techniques and efficiencies for existing products. - Manage the execution of maintenance and repair activities for equipment and relevant module components. - Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, cost, productivity, defect reduction, and yield enhancement. - Collaborate with equipment suppliers to address technical challenges and improve performance. - Own the development and optimization of excursion prevention systems for both equipment and processes. - Detect discrepant materials or activities to maintain process control and operational standards. - Handle factory ramps by overseeing equipment installation, conversion, and qualification, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality benchmarks are met. - Participate in technology transfer to other sites by training teams and auditing installation and qualification outcomes.

Requirements

  • Masters in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics or any STEM related field 3+ years of experience.
  • OR PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics or any STEM related field.
  • The experience above should be a combination on the following: Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.
  • Experience with problem-solving methodologies.

Nice to Have

  • Expertise in statistical process control and process characterization techniques. - Experience in liquid chemistry and/or lithography process development. -Equipment development experience - Proficiency in manufacturing process control, process improvement, and semiconductor equipment. - Advanced knowledge of material science as applied to semiconductor manufacturing. - Experience leading group problem-solving initiatives to address challenges in high-volume production environments. - Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and communicate technical concepts effectively. - Prior involvement in process development for high-volume manufacturing nodes. - Demonstrated success in optimizing production output while adhering to stringent quality and safety standards.

  • Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $103,730.00-198,820.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
