About This Role
- Join Intel as a Tech Contract Employee supporting the development of GenIA platform, an internal AI-driven automation platform focused on enabling LLM-based workflows, intelligent agents, and GenAI integrations across multiple teams at GDC.
- In this role, you will collaborate with architecture, validation, software, firmware, and data teams to develop scalable automation and orchestration solutions that improve engineering productivity, streamline validation and operational workflows, and accelerate adoption of AI capabilities across Intel platforms.
- Please consider that this is a temporary position (1 year).
- Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automation frameworks, orchestration services, and AI-driven workflows for validation and engineering operations.
- Build integrations between internal tools, APIs, data pipelines, and LLM/GenAI services.
- Create intelligent agents and reusable workflows to automate data analysis, validation execution, reporting, and operational tasks.
- Design scalable automation solutions to improve efficiency, reduce duplicated development efforts, and simplify workflow management across teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, validation, firmware, software, and performance engineering to identify and implement high-impact AI and automation opportunities.
- Enhance automation reliability, observability, and data management capabilities to support future AI initiatives and scalable deployment.

Requirements
- are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer in Software Engineering or related field. 6+ months of experience in the following: Python and developing automation frameworks, APIs, or workflow orchestration solutions.
- Large Language Model (LLMs), GenAI tools, and AI-agent frameworks.
- Linux environments, scripting, and software integration workflows.
- Software architecture, distributed systems, or cloud-native technologies. Intermediate to advanced English level.
- Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).
- Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Experience building AI-driven automation platforms or intelligent workflow systems.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and data pipelines.
- Familiarity with validation, telemetry, or engineering operational workflows.
- Experience with container technologies, observability tools, or scalable backend services.
- Exposure to hardware validation, SoC, or server platform environments is a plus.
- Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of relevant industry job experience, internship experience and/or schoolwork/classes/research.
