  • Intel's Government Technology Group is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive customer engagement and business outcomes aligned with mission requirements.
  • This role targets individuals with technical experience and strong business acumen to accelerate adoption of Intel Foundry Services.
  • The ideal candidate brings proven leadership, strong customer-facing experience, and semiconductor product experience.
  • The candidate would be positioned at the intersection of engineering and business to support government and defense customers.
  • Key Responsibilities Partner with customers and Business Development to design tailored Intel Foundry solutions.
  • Support the full sales cycle from engagement through delivery.
  • Provide input on proposals, demonstrations, and technology discussions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to help focus solutions and meet the customer's needs.
  • Drive competitive positioning, pricing, and contract negotiations.
  • Contribute to technical roadmaps and risk mitigation plans.
  • Domain Expertise Build deep knowledge of Intel Foundry Services, roadmaps, and IP offerings.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and USG/DIB market dynamics.
  • Understand semiconductor supply chain, pricing models, and contract structures.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership Establish trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders.
  • Partner with engineering and marketing leaders to identify new strategies for business development.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable business solutions.
  • Contribute market insights to influence product and roadmap strategy.
  • Pipeline and Opportunity Management Identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities.
  • Support win strategies, competitive positioning, and deal execution.
  • Manage technical sales activities through contract negotiation and close.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting in CRM systems.
  • Sales Enablement and Market Development Develop business collateral for U.S.
  • Government and defense markets.
  • Support marketing initiatives and customer success storytelling.
  • Represent Intel at industry events.
  • Drive initiatives to expand market.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research.
  • The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
  • Minimum Qualifications U.S.
  • Citizenship required.
  • Government Secret security clearance required, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Development or related field. 5+ years of experience in semiconductor, silicon, microelectronics, or integrated hardware/software solutions.
  • Experience with federal contracting and procurement processes.
  • Preferred Qualifications Post graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business Development or related field.
  • Active US Government TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Experience supporting U.S.
  • Government (USG) or Defense Industrial Base (DIB) environments.
  • Semiconductor foundry experience with advanced process nodes (7nm and below).
  • Proven ability to support customer engagements, develop solutions, and effectively position technical offerings.
  • Experience with federal contracting and procurement processes.
  • Experience with consultative, solution-based selling approaches.
  • Experience working with Business Development and sales/marketing organizations.
  • Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear customer value propositions.
  • Experience developing sales collateral and market-facing materials.

  • Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $158,200.00-264,460.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
  • Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
