About This Role
- The Role and Impact As a Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Intel's fabrication facilities through every stage of the product lifecycle.
- You will ensure the successful development and ramp of high-volume or technology development manufacturing processes by optimizing operations, driving continuous improvements, and resolving complex technical challenges.
- Your contributions will directly impact factory performance, enabling Intel's ability to innovate and achieve production excellence.
- Key Responsibilities -Define and implement decision-support tools, methodologies, and operational standards for sequences and processes. -Establish manufacturing requirements, assess technologies, and develop plans and supply chains to enable production. -Analyze current processes to identify improvement opportunities, correct deviations, and enhance efficiency. -Inspect machinery and tools, verify efficiency, and initiate corrective actions for deficiencies. -Analyze factory metrics, identify system enhancements, and drive implementation roadmaps. -Develop and troubleshoot factory reporting systems; collaborate with automation teams to build business systems for performance monitoring. -Partner with operations management, engineering, and automation stakeholders to align strategies with operational goals. -Assist Manufacturing Operations Managers in achieving output targets and resolving operational challenges. -Create and distribute manufacturing documentation for product design, configuration, and build requirements. -Define and drive automation systems and station controller capabilities aligned with product roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or engineering field, such as Industrial Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Management, with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training. - Demonstrated knowledge of structural problem-solving methods and data-driven decision-making. - Proficiency in analyzing factory metrics and workflows to identify improvement opportunities. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Preferred Qualifications - Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments is a plus. - Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and resolve issues constructively. - Passion for working with teams to drive operational improvements and achieve production goals. - Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
