About This Role

  • The Role and Impact: As a Module Development Engineer, you will be at the forefront of advancing Intel's manufacturing processes and future technologies.
  • In this role, you will design and develop innovative manufacturing solutions, optimize processes to meet ambitious device specifications, and contribute directly to Intel's industry-leading product development.
  • Your day-to-day activities will involve hands-on engineering, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and engaging with external partners to push the boundaries of process technology.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and enable advanced manufacturing processes for high-volume production and future technology advancements.
  • Design, optimize, and implement manufacturing solutions, including material selection, metrology, and system design.
  • Conduct feasibility studies using engineering methods and theoretical simulations to meet device specifications.
  • Lead process pathfinding activities and roadmaps for technologies enabling innovative device architectures.
  • Collaborate with equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling manufacturing technologies. - Perform statistical analysis and process characterization to ensure quality control and continuous improvement. - Recommend and execute modifications to equipment designs and processes to optimize efficiency and output. - Prepare detailed technical documentation to support development and integration activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training OR a Master's degree in a relevant field with no prior professional experience.
  • Proficiency in statistical process control methods and tools.
  • Experience with scripting for process automation and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing process control, improvement, and characterization principles.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a specialized field with relevant academic or internship experience.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and partner organizations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and automation tools, such as SQL, Power BI, Python, or C++.
  • Understanding of design of experiments (DOE) principles and statistical techniques.
  • Ability to lead group problem-solving efforts and deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges.
