About This Role

- The internship offers a collaborative, hands-on environment to strengthen your technical expertise in analog design, enhance programming and analytical problem-solving skills, and gain exposure to industry-standard design methodologies that support Intel’s technology leadership.
- This internship has a duration of six months.
- The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to: Contributes to the functional logic verification of silicon designs to ensure specifications are met.
- Supports the development of verification plans, test benches, and development of the verification environment to ensure coverage of the architecture.
- May also support emulation and simulation to verify the design, analyze power and performance, and uncover bugs.
- Supports root cause and debug of issues and collaborates on the corrective measures to resolve design issues.
- Works closely with architecture and design teams to ensure functional correctness and implementation efficiency.
- As an intern, learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment.
- Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job.
- This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Requirements
- Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- You should be working towards a bachelor's, licenciate or master's degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- You should have done (or) working towards course work in at least one of the following areas: Logic design, verification , and architecture, scripting (Python, Shell).
- Have knowledge in UNIX and Windows including console commands in Linux.
- Upper Intermediate to Advanced English level with good communication skills.
- Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.
Nice to Have
- Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Used Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM/OVM through coursework instructions/labs.
