About This Role

  • A candidate for a temporary position who has not yet graduated and is working towards a relevant Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree from a relevant academic institute.
  • With special knowledge on power electronics, voltage regulators and computer architecture.
  • Key Responsibilities Responsible for the power delivery and integrity validation of Intel's next generation high performance CPUs and interconnected interfaces.
  • Validation, characterization and optimization of integrated voltage regulators and power delivery network.
  • Developing automation software and tools for validation and data acquisition Use of lab equipment to measure and characterize Behavioral Traits Eagerness to learn and apply new technical concepts.
  • Sense of ownership and accountability for assigned tasks.
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • What You Will Learn Developing validation strategies, plans and methodologies, teaming up with designers, architects, manufacturing, pre silicon teams and other cross functional teams.
  • Practical experience in hardware design and development processes.
  • Hands-on exposure to real hardware systems and engineering tools.
  • Fundamentals of hardware validation, debugging, and testing.
  • How to collaborate within cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Industry best practices for documentation, quality, and design reviews.
  • Intern must be willing to work at least 30 hours per week.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 3+ months of experience in: Power Electronics and DC Voltage Regulators Knowledge on Theory of control systems.
  • Programming skills with languages such as Python or C++.
  • Advance English level.
  • Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Computer Architecture.
  • Electronics and DC Voltage Regulators.
  • Intermediate Programing skills in Python.
  • Reading and interpreting electronic components datasheets A candidate who accepts an offer of employment in Mexico is required to present their own personal identification information and numbers for the following: Mexican Security Number (NSS), Tax Identification Number (RFC) and CURP identification number.
