About This Role
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Platform Validation Engineering Intern to join our team.
- In this role, you will support validation activities for cutting-edge technologies, playing a critical part in ensuring the functionality and quality of Intel's platform solutions.
- You will gain hands-on exposure to real-world validation, debugging, and automation challenges in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

- Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Set up platforms, including hardware configuration and Operating System deployment.
- Execute test cases and report results to support validation cycles.
- Perform triage activities to identify root causes of issues.
- Improve testing efficiency by scripting manual test cases.
- Automate test plans using orchestration tools to enhance process accuracy.
- Adhere to established engineering processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- The ideal candidate should show the following behavioral traits: Strong organizational skills, eagerness to learn, and willingness to work effectively in team-based environments.
Requirements
- are required to be initially considered for this position .
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, with at least one year remaining as an active student . 1+ years of experience in the following: Scripting languages like Python.
- Working with Linux OS on any distribution.
- Assembling computers and updating firmware/software.
- In system validation.
- Advanced English level.
- Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).
- Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub, SVN, GitLab, etc.
- Experience with automation tools like Jenkins and Airflow.
