About This Role
- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to join the Validation, Integration and Debug Engineering team.
- In this role you will support the validation activities for the latest solutions on Telecommunications products.
- You will be working closely with experienced engineers, improving current processes and increasing the number of automated test cases available.
- This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world platform validation challenges and automation practices, in a collaborative and fast-paced engineering environment.
- Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Setting up platforms, involving hardware and Operating System deployment.
- Executing test cases and reporting back results.
- Performing triage activities for issues root-causing.
- Improving execution cycles by scripting manual test cases.
- Automating test plans using orchestration tools.
- Follow established engineering processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Requirements
- are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Candidate must be currently pursuing a bachelor's in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field (At least 1 year remaining as an active student).
- Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research. 6+ months of experience in the following: • with scripting languages such as Python (OOP, Object Oriented Programming). • Linux OS, on any distribution. • assembling computers and updating firmware/software. • System validation.
- Advanced English level.
- Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).
- Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Familiarized with version controllers (GitHub, SVN, GitLab, etc.).
- Experience working with automation tools like Jenkins and Airflow.
- A candidate who accepts an offer of employment in Mexico is required to present their own personal identification information and numbers for the following: Mexican Security Number (NSS), Tax Identification Number (RFC) and CURP identification number.
