About This Role
- As a DSIRE Module Equipment Technician , you will play a critical role in Intel's semiconductor manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
- In this role, you will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support production goals, troubleshoot equipment issues, and help deliver the innovative technologies that power the future of computing.
- The DSIRE (Diffusion) Module Equipment Technician will be responsible for: Supporting wafer fabrication operations, equipment, processes, and training activities.
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshooting equipment issues, driving defect reduction activities, and supporting factory performance objectives.
- Working from technical manuals, specifications, schematics, drawings, diagrams, and written or verbal instructions to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Utilizing a variety of tools, test equipment, problem-solving techniques, and communication skills to maintain equipment performance.
- Working a compressed work week schedule and supporting operational needs across shifts 4, 5, 6, and 7 within Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (Fab 52, Fab 42, Fab 32, and Fab 12).

- Work Schedule This position is assigned to a Compressed Work Week (CWW) schedule.
- Selected candidates will be hired into and assigned to one of the following shifts (Shift 4, 5, 6, or 7).
- Compressed Work Week shifts are typically 12-hour shifts from 6:00 to 6:00.
- Shift 4: Night Front Half (PM-AM) Sunday through Tuesday and alternating Saturday nights.
- Shift 5: Day Front Half (AM-PM) Sunday through Tuesday and alternating Wednesday days.
- Shift 6: Night Back Half (PM-AM) Wednesday through Saturday and alternating Saturday nights.
- Shift 7: Day Back Half (AM-PM) Thursday through Saturday and alternating Wednesday days.
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Requirements

- Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and will be considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- This position requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kg) multiple times per shift and perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum Qualifications The candidate must possess at least one of the following: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of related hands-on experience or military technical experience or High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in an equipment maintenance role or High School Diploma or equivalent and a 2+ year technical/trade certification or 2+ years of technical experience or Associate degree in a STEM-related field and 1+ years of equipment maintenance experience.
- Preferred Qualifications Military technical experience.
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience in an advanced-node production environment.
- Experience supporting diffusion and/or implant equipment.
- Experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on 300mm semiconductor manufacturing equipment or equivalent systems.
- Experience with process control systems.
- Experience reading and interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and diagrams.
- Demonstrated ability to influence the development of equipment maintenance specifications, procedures, and business processes.
- Integrated circuit fabrication experience.

- Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $51,710.00-85,340.00 USD (Hourly Role) The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
