- Key Responsibilities - Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. - Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble production equipment following blueprints, operating manuals, and technical drawings. - Conduct setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal tool performance and minimize downtime. - Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate equipment servicing and repairs. - Monitor and analyze tool performance data to identify trends, improve reliability, and address challenges. - Create reports on system failures, update existing specifications, and develop new maintenance guidelines. - Partner with Module Engineering to execute experiments, implement configuration changes, and support data collection activities. - Assist in troubleshooting and controlled experiments to meet or exceed module performance and availability targets. - Support factory ramp efforts by working with engineering and construction teams to ensure tools are installed and configured per design specifications.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related technical field. - 4-6 years of relevant experience with a High School diploma OR no professional experience required with an AA or AS degree. - Proficiency in mechanical and electronic troubleshooting. - Experience with equipment setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance. - Familiarity with technical documentation, blueprints, and standard operating procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications - Hands-on experience resolving equipment issues in a manufacturing environment. - Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify actionable insights. - Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams. - Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards. - Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to emerging technologies and processes.
