About This Role
- Location: Kulim, Kedah Job Type: Contractual, Shift Working Hours (Regular onsite presence required) Job Summary We are expanding our team in Kulim and are currently hiring for two distinct technician roles: 1.
- Module Equipment Technician - Die Sort-PCM 2.
- Module Equipment Technician - Die Prep Both roles require a strong technical aptitude, a commitment to quality standards, and the ability to work in a dynamic shift environment.
- Role 1: Module Equipment Technician (Die Sort-PCM) This role is highly focused on precision probe card repair and maintenance activities to support Die Sort production operations. • Precision Repair: Perform probe replacement, repair, and inspection of probe cards. • Microscope Work: Use microscopes and precision tools to repair and align micron-sized probes (requires steady hands and good eyesight). • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot probe card and test interface-related issues. • Maintenance: Carry out equipment setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance. • Engineering Support: Support engineering experiments, qualifications, and data collection activities. • Records: Maintain accurate repair records and follow established work procedures.
- Role 2: Module Equipment Technician (Die Prep) This role focuses on keeping manufacturing equipment running at peak performance through regular electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and calibration. • Troubleshooting: Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to resolve problems in non-functioning manufacturing equipment. • Maintenance and Setup: Perform setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment. • Engineering Support: Work with Module Engineering to execute experiments, implement equipment configuration changes, and support data collection. • Procedures: Complete tasks strictly according to published manufacturing procedures.
- Requirements for Both Roles Regardless of which focus area fits you best, all candidates should meet the following baseline requirements: Education/Skills-Basic understanding of mechanical, electronic, or mechatronic systems.
- Aptitude-Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with precision instruments.
- Traits-High attention to detail, commitment to quality standards, and good teamwork/communication abilities.
- Work Style-Willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and work in a shift schedule.
- Location-Must be willing to work onsite in Kulim, Kedah.
