- Key Responsibilities Own and maintain critical high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes, facilitating device miniaturization and mass production of integrated circuits.
- Conduct tests and measurements to ensure control over critical dimensions and defectivity within the process line.
- Recommend and implement equipment modifications to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Scale in-situ manufacturing capacity to high volumes and transfer technology to global manufacturing counterparts.
- Execute maintenance and repairs for equipment and associated module components to optimize performance.
- Drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, cost, productivity, defects, and yield through process and equipment enhancements.
- Collaborate with equipment suppliers to optimize tool performance and resolve issues.
- Develop and refine systems to prevent excursions and detect discrepancies in material or equipment processes.
- Lead equipment installation, conversion, and qualification during factory ramps, ensuring all tools meet safety, quality, and manufacturing-readiness standards.
- Support the transfer of technology to other sites through comprehensive training and audits to ensure consistent processes across facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or BS degree in a specialized field, or equivalent experience aligned with business needs or job requirements. 4+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years with a Master's degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
- Proficiency in Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Strong expertise in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, process characterization, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with equipment monitoring, adjustment, and troubleshooting to optimize performance.
- Commitment to an initial 1-year contract term, with openness to a performance-based 1-year extension.
- Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and disciplined execution in high-pressure manufacturing environments.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and global partners to drive process optimization.
- Familiarity with leading technology transfers and scaling manufacturing processes to high volumes.
