• Key Responsibilities - Specify and oversee inspection and testing mechanisms to ensure compliance with quality standards for products and production equipment. - Conduct quality assessments and audits, evaluating materials, processes, and techniques used in manufacturing. - Develop and monitor health and performance indicators for product quality and reliability to guide optimization efforts. - Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and foster a quality culture mindset across factories. - Represent the quality and reliability function in product engineering and development forums, recommending design or formulation changes to enhance reliability. - Manage excursions, execute change control processes, and drive supplier audit and continuous improvement efforts. - Establish systems for early detection and containment of excursions, performing risk assessments and disposition of discrepant materials. - Analyze structured and unstructured data using statistics and machine learning to identify insights and determine the disposition of products and systems that do not meet specifications. - Address customer-reported issues related to manufacturing and provide engineering solutions to enhance customer experience.
