About This Role
- Functional Focus: Digital Signage Operations Specialist The Digital Signage Operations Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operational support of enterprise digital signage systems across global locations.
- This role ensures the reliability, performance, and scalability of digital signage solutions by monitoring software platforms, managing hardware health, coordinating procurement and asset lifecycle activities, and supporting local repair efforts.
- The position also plays a key role in evaluating and piloting emerging technologies, vendors, and content delivery solutions through structured proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, working closely with IT, procurement, and business stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and maintain digital signage software platforms to ensure uptime, performance, and content accuracy. - Track and manage hardware health across global deployments, including displays, media players, and networking components. - Coordinate global purchase orders, including vendor communication, order tracking, and asset lifecycle management. - Liaise with local repair teams and service providers to resolve hardware issues efficiently. - Support troubleshooting efforts and escalate issues as needed to internal or external partners. - Assist in testing and validating new technologies, vendors, and digital content presentation solutions through POCs. - Document processes, system configurations, and operational procedures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, procurement, and business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 2-5 years of experience in IT operations, AV systems, digital signage, or related technologies. - Familiarity with digital signage platforms, CMS tools, or remote monitoring systems. - Experience coordinating with global vendors and managing procurement workflows. - Strong troubleshooting skills across software and hardware environments. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work across time zones. - Experience supporting POCs or evaluating new technologies is a plus.
- Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP, connectivity, remote access). - Experience with ticketing systems and monitoring tools. - Exposure to audiovisual (AV) systems or IoT devices. - Project coordination or vendor management experience.
