About This Role
- As a Technical Writer for Ethernet products, you will play a vital role in simplifying complex technical concepts and ensuring accurate, clear, and engaging documentation for Intel's cutting-edge products.
- Your ability to create accessible content will directly impact product usability, customer satisfaction, and Intel's reputation for delivering world-class solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will transform intricate technical data into easy-to-understand materials, enabling diverse audiences to fully leverage Intel's innovative technologies.
- Key Responsibilities - Research, analyze, and interpret technical information to produce clear, concise, and accurate documentation aligned with products. - Create user guides, application notes, manuals, product descriptions, and promotional materials to support product launch and lifecycle. - Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather and validate technical content. - Simplify complex concepts into comprehensible content tailored for diverse audiences, ensuring appropriate syntax, style, and grammar. - Define, manage, and deliver documentation projects, prioritizing tasks in line with business goals, product release cycles, and customer requirements spanning different geographical locations. - Maintain content quality by conducting thorough reviews to ensure adherence to standards for graphics, layout, style, and terminology. - Optimize existing content based on customer feedback and product updates, ensuring accuracy and relevance. - Support the creation of illustrative materials, including drawings, diagrams, and schematics, to enhance technical content.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in technical writing, communications, or a hardware/software-specific domain. - 0-1+ years of experience in technical writing or related fields with a Bachelor's degree, or 0 years with a Master's degree. - Proficiency in technical writing tools and principles, including content discovery, management, and lifecycle processes. - Demonstrated ability to create technically accurate and user-friendly documentation for diverse audiences. - Strong understanding of information architecture and technical documentation processes.
- Preferred Qualifications - Passionate technical writing or working within a hardware and software engineering environment. - Familiarity with product and requirement definition processes. - Strong organizational skills and disciplined execution to manage multiple priorities effectively. - Collaborative mindset with a focus on group problem-solving and stakeholder engagement. - Ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders across different regions, cultures, and time zones. - Enthusiasm for continuous learning and applying innovative approaches to technical communication.
