About This Role

- You will develop and execute verification plans, create test benches, and analyze system simulation results to identify and debug issues in pre-silicon environments.

- Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute IP verification plans aligned with CPU microarchitecture specifications. - Create and optimize test benches and verification environments to ensure coverage goals are met. - Define and run system simulation models to uncover bugs and validate CPU designs. - Debug issues in pre-silicon environments, root-cause failures, and implement corrective measures. - Collaborate with CPU architects and RTL developers to verify complex architectural and microarchitectural features. - Document test plans and contribute to technical reviews with cross-functional teams. - Maintain and enhance existing functional verification methodologies and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, with skills gained through academic projects, internships, coursework, or training. - Foundational knowledge of CPU architecture and computer systems. - Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM. - Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PERL. - Experience using industry-standard verification tools and methodologies.
- Preferred Qualifications - Strong analytical and debugging skills with a creative approach to problem-solving. - Effective communication and collaboration abilities, supporting teamwork in dynamic environments. - Self-motivated and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced settings.
