About This Role

  • This internship has a duration of six months.
  • The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to: Contributes to the development, optimization, and integration of software applications that interface with Intel products or in support of internal company operation.
  • May assist in performance tuning, debugging, and enabling new features across operating systems and user level applications.
  • Collaborates with other design and customer teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
  • As an intern, learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment.
  • A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to shared goals.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and analytical thinking, with the ability to review and interpret data effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's, licenciatura, or master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • You should have done (or) working towards course work in at least one of the following areas: programming (C++), scripting (Python, Shell).
  • Knowledge in UNIX and Windows including console commands in Linux.
  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (both verbal and written).
  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.

Nice to Have

  • Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
  • AI-related experience (agent or skill development, MCP, CLI).
  • Eagerness to learn and explore new areas of product development or technology.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a team-based environment.
