About This Role

  • The Role and Impact As an Operations Manager working in the LTD Metrology group, you will play a vital role in leading technicians and working closely with the engineering teams to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Your hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, seeking to understand issues, and pushing module goals will directly support the production of industry-leading semiconductor technologies.

  • Key Responsibilities: Set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
  • Monitor overall operational flow through area to find and fix problems with urgency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving methodologies including Lean Manufacturing, MBPS, and Six Sigma to enhance safety, quality, cost, and output metrics.
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence on the manufacturing floor to monitor operations, facilitate effective execution, and establish consistent standards across all shifts.
  • Establish, evaluate, and execute training plans to develop technician skills aligned with operational requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams to resolve equipment and automation issues and optimize performance.
  • Manage shift schedules including workstation assignments, rotations, and staffing requests to align with production needs.

Requirements

  • Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree OR technical Military background in STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience in Semi-Conductor Manufacturing or leadership role. 1 year of working with complex software, pulling data and data analysis using database frameworks like: SQL, JMP, or other.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in any of the following: Experience with factory operations, metrology tooling, and yield development.
  • Experience with factory systems eg.
  • AM, CA2, PX2, TALA.
  • Experience with equipment qualification and/or support.
  • Leading continuous improvement projects with measurable results.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and prioritize work effectively.
  • Willing to say no and find common solutions for conflicting priorities across groups.
  • Proven track record of both leadership and complex problem solving.

  • Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $103,730.00-170,630.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
  • Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
