- What You'll Do Help enable the technologies that power AI, computing, and connectivity.
- As a Facilities Services Intern, you'll support the critical infrastructure behind Intel's semiconductor manufacturing operations.
- Support engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze system and equipment performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist with troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical problem solving.
- Contribute to the safe, reliable, and sustainable operation of critical facility systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to solve real-world engineering challenges.
- Gain exposure to facilities engineering, instrumentation and controls, chemical management, water treatment, environmental health and safety, and manufacturing infrastructure.

Requirements

- Experience may be gained through coursework, research, academic projects, internships, laboratory work, student organizations, leadership experiences, or other relevant experiences.
- Minimum Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation and Controls, Microelectronics, Renewable Energy Technology, Environmental Technology, Water/Purification Engineering, or a related STEM field. 3+ months of engineering, research, analytical, technical, educational, or industry experience.
- Preferred Qualifications GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
- Exposure to engineering design, laboratory environments, equipment systems, modeling, simulation, data analysis, or technical problem solving.
- Interest in facilities systems, sustainability, advanced manufacturing, infrastructure operations, automation, or environmental health and safety.
- Demonstrated teamwork, communication, leadership, and passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
