About This Role
- The Role and Impact As a Facilities Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain industrial instrumentation and automation systems essential for supporting facilities operations, manufacturing, labs and other stakeholders.
- Your role will involve troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems while also creating new control solutions to improve performance and reliability.
- Your scope also focuses on Building Monitoring System (BMS), PLCs, Control Valves and Monitoring sensors.
- By playing a key role in ensuring seamless functionality of critical systems, you will directly contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and maintaining Intel's high standards of performance and innovation.

- This group is dedicated to maintaining and optimizing systems that ensure operational excellence, reliability, and sustainability across Intel's facilities.
- The team collaborates across disciplines to support Intel's broader mission of driving innovation and advancing technological capabilities.
- Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain industrial instrumentation systems for facilities operations. - Troubleshoot, calibrate, and program analytical instrumentation to ensure optimal performance and functionality. - Develop and modify control systems to enhance system reliability and efficiency. - Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement solutions to address and rectify issues. - Prepare engineering assessments and provide technical direction for construction designs. - Manage projects within defined cost and time constraints, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards. - Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including design engineers, operations staff, and external contractors. - Assist ance in procurement processes will be required - Analyze data, create reports, and provide consultancy support on technical matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical , Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field with 2 -5 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and controls - Familiarity with instrumentation measuring devices such as pressure, temperature, humidity, and flow sensors. - Experience with industrial automation platforms, such as GE Cimplicity , Rockwell Automation Logix PLC products, and SCADA systems, is highly valued and will be added advantage . - Ability to interpret instrumentation installation drawings, PLC Logic diagrams, and interface systems for PLC/SCADA.
