- Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain compilers for domain-specific programming languages. - Collaborate closely with hardware design teams and external partners to ensure compatibility and optimization. - Analyze, debug, and resolve complex issues in software tools and programming languages. - Participate in language and standards groups to influence industry advancements and best practices. - Test and validate compiler functionality to ensure robust performance and reliability. - Enhance and optimize existing compiler tools to meet evolving technical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of professional experience in compiler development OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of professional experience in compiler development OR PhD in a relevant field with no prior professional experience required. - Proficiency in developing and debugging compilers or related software tools. - Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, or similar. - Knowledge of heterogeneous software programming and programming language principles. - Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and toolchains.
- Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware design and external partners. - Experience contributing to open-source compiler projects or language standards groups. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing software tools. - Effective communication skills to present technical concepts and influence industry-wide discussions.
