  • The focus of this role is to be part of a team of pre-silicon verification engineers to verify new and existing features for Intel's next generation CPU IP resulting in bug free final design.
  • You will be responsible for exhaustively validating the RTL implementation of new architecture and microarchitecture capabilities using a combination of standalone and top-level test environments as well as formal verification.
  • Key Responsibilities Role responsibilities include although not limited to: - Assist on developing of pre-Si validation test plans and test scenarios to prove the correctness of the design - Development of components for a simulation-based environment: BFMs, trackers, checkers, scoreboards, and testbenches - Performing and debugging digital simulations, and driving to closure of bugs - Development of functional coverage and achieving coverage goals - Working closely with design engineers, micro-architects, and other team members to ensure high quality of test plans, functional coverage, and tests - Ability to deliver high-quality output against deadlines and able to work effectively in a cross-site team environment Behavioral Traits: Eagerness to learn and apply new technical concepts.

Requirements

  • Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, with at least one year remaining before graduation. 4 months of experience in: Digital design, ASIC design flow and computer architecture At least oneprogramming/scriptinglanguages such as C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python, and Unix (Linux) Hardware description languages (such as VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog) Basic skills pertaining to pre-Si validation, examples include logic simulators (Xilinx, Quartus, Modelsim, VCS).

  • Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship) Preferred Qualifications: Basic testbench development and test scenarios writing, functional coverage concepts and implementation A candidate who accepts an offer of employment in Mexico is required to present their own personal identification information and numbers for the following: Mexican Security Number (NSS), Tax Identification Number (RFC) and CURP identification number.
