- The Role and Impact As a Manufacturing Systems Software Development Engineer, you will contribute to the creation and optimization of solutions spanning multiple layers of the software stack, ensuring the seamless operation of factory systems.

- Key Responsibilities - Provide technical troubleshooting and operational support for Factory Automation Platforms/Infrastructure in Intel Foundry's Technology Development Factories. - Perform project work including Automation process and/or product hardening. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex system challenges and optimize manufacturing operations. - Document processes, tools, and solutions, ensuring knowledge sharing across teams. - Provide technical support and implement solutions for distributed enterprise systems spanning global factory operations. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to manufacturing solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline. - 1+ years of experience in Infrastructure and Platform support. - Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware-related issues effectively. - Foundational knowledge of operating system architecture, configuration, and networking protocols.
- Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across diverse global teams. - Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly. - Familiarity with agile methodologies, ITIL frameworks, and DevOps practices. - This role follows a compressed work week position for Wed-Sat.
- The schedule supports continuous factory operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
