- Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and build analog circuits in advanced process nodes, ensuring high-performance and robust functionality. - Perform transistor-level circuit design, chip parameter extraction, and analog behavior modeling. - Optimize circuit designs to meet power, performance, area, timing, and yield targets. - Create and execute test plans to validate designs against microarchitecture specifications, analyzing test results for validation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications, address design challenges, and resolve performance issues. - Conduct layout reviews and partner with layout teams to ensure optimal placement and routing. - Support post-silicon validation and debug efforts to achieve high-volume manufacturing readiness. - Continuously refine design methodologies to enhance quality and reduce design cycle time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - 2-8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree, or no experience with a PhD. - Proficiency in CMOS circuit design, RC circuit fundamentals, and analog circuit simulation tools such as Spectre, HSPICE, or PrimeSim. - Experience designing high-speed IO circuits such as SerDes, DDR, LPDDR, HBM, and associated blocks like PLLs, DLLs, and clocking circuits. - Knowledge of layout design principles, DRC, LVS, and post-layout extraction tools. - Demonstrated ability to perform lab measurements and correlate data with simulation results. - Familiarity with modeling and simulating high-speed interconnects and channels.
- Preferred Qualifications - Exposure to high-speed digital design, timing closure, and digitally assisted analog techniques. - Proficiency in analog behavioral modeling using VerilogA. - Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, or C for design automation and process enhancement. - Strong analytical skills and a proven track record of solving complex engineering problems.
