About This Role

  • Join Intel's Technical Enablement Group (under Sales Marketing Group), Client ADC team as an AI Software Engineering Master Intern.
  • In this role, you will focus on the development and enablement of Agentic AI systems on AI PC platforms, supporting next generation client AI experiences.
  • You will work on building agentic AI workflows, setting up AI environments on AI PC platforms, experimenting with new AI models and applications, and enabling pretraining and task learning pipelines.
  • This role emphasizes hands on engineering across AI infrastructure, system setup, and agent oriented AI workloads.
  • Your work will contribute to agentic AI capability skill development for AI PC, with frameworks such as openclaw serving as representative internal implementations.
  • The outcomes of your work will directly support Intel's client AI software ecosystem and future product readiness. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Set up and maintain AI development environments on AI PC platforms (OS, drivers, frameworks, toolchains). • Develop and experiment with Agentic AI systems, including multi step reasoning, tool usage, memory, and task orchestration. • Explore and integrate new AI models and applications relevant to AI PC usage scenarios. • Support pretraining and fine tuning methodologies, including data pipelines, training workflows, and model integration • Implement AI coding tasks across infrastructure and application layers to enable agent based workflows. • Evaluate functionality, performance, and usability of agentic AI workloads on client platforms. • Collaborate with cross functional teams on AI software enablement and HW/SW integration. • Document experiments, design decisions, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and future scaling.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in Master's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. • Strong background in AI / Deep Learning fundamentals, including neural network models and training concepts. • Proficiency in Python programming. • Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow. • Familiarity with LLM based workflows, AI agents, or task oriented AI systems. • Interest in AI systems development on client platforms / AI PC. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Agentic AI concepts, such as multi agent systems, tool calling, planning, memory, or workflow orchestration. • Hands on experience with pretraining or fine tuning large AI models. • Familiarity with AI infrastructure frameworks or internal agent frameworks (e.g., openclaw). • Understanding of system level concepts including performance, resource utilization, or deployment on local devices. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross functional engineering environment.
