About This Role
- The Role and Impact: As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency that drive Intel's success.
- In this dynamic position, you will maintain and analyze financial records, support month-end and year-end close processes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful financial insights.
- Your contributions will be vital in maintaining Intel's reputation for compliance, innovation, and disciplined execution, directly enabling informed decision-making and business growth within a fast-paced global environment.
- Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records in compliance with US GAAP, internal policies, and applicable local accounting standards. - Support monthly and annual financial close processes, including preparing and posting journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. - Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to produce reports for internal and external stakeholders, including statutory and regulatory filings. - Collaborate with external auditors, government authorities, and other stakeholders during audits and reporting cycles to ensure compliance and transparency. - Drive adherence to defined accounting procedures and ensure robust internal controls, including compliance with SOX requirements. - Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. - Assist in ERP upgrades and other system-related enhancements, including data validation and user acceptance testing. - Act as a key point of contact for finance-related inquiries, collaborating with cross-functional teams on unique transactions and automation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 0-1+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 0 years with a Master's degree. - Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Familiarity with US GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial data.
Nice to Have
- Membership or active pursuit of certifications such as CPA, ACCA, MICPA, or MIA. - Experience with automation tools like Power BI, Python, Power Automate, or SQL scripting. - Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams. - Capacity to adapt to ambiguity and dynamic environments while maintaining focus on results. - Experience in project management and driving process improvement initiatives. - Passion for leveraging technology to transform and innovate financial operations.
