What You'll Do
- Understand Hotwell designs, test structures, and SLM macros.
- Perform Hotwell design analysis to evaluate design characteristics, identify optimization opportunities, and support testsite development activities.
- Support layout design and development of test structures and testsite components.
- Develop/update EDA code for automation and generation of test structures through the aid of ML/AI.
- Consolidate and maintain existing code and test chip database.
- Promote design reusability concepts to improve layout development efficiency.
- Other Responsibilities: Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs .
- Required Qualifications: Education – Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s in Computer Science & Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
- Available for a 16– 24 week credit-bearing internship commencing January 2027.

- Prior related internship or co-op experience Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
- Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
