Sr.Mgr/Dep Director IT Operations – Design and Engineering Services

What You'll Do

• Service availability tracking Performance monitoring Escalation management Capacity planning Continuous improvement initiatives Vendor and support partner coordination Service Management & Operational Excellence Lead Major Incident Management activities impacting DE operations.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA / 5 Whys / 8 Disciplines) and corrective action plans.
• Implement and improve ITIL-based operational processes.
• Establish operational runbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Develop operational metrics and service level reporting.
• Key focus areas include: Service Availability Service Reliability Mean Time to Restore (MTTR) Service Level Achievement Customer Satisfaction Infrastructure Health Vendor & Partner Management Manage strategic relationships with internal support teams, managed service providers, and technology vendors.
• Review operational performance against contractual commitments and service expectations.
• Drive accountability and continuous improvement amongst service providers.
• Coordinate global support activities across multiple time zones and geographic regions.
• Governance, Risk & Compliance Ensure operational compliance with corporate policies and security standards.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams on vulnerability remediation and risk management.
• Support audit and compliance initiatives.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning activities.
• Financial & Capacity Management Develop operational forecasts and resource plans.
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities for R&D technology services.
• Track utilization trends and future capacity requirements.
• Support business case development for infrastructure and service investments.
