What You'll Do

  • Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of the CWCM Input Lifecycle Platform, including request intake, document management, workflow visibility, change tracking, and process governance.
  • Analyze existing Capacity Engineering workflows and identify opportunities to automate, standardize, simplify, and improve cycle time for recurring team processes.
  • Develop practical digital solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, and related productivity tools to reduce manual effort and improve process reliability.
  • Assist with AI-enabled workflow concepts, including comparison of raw request inputs against reference files, summarization of missing information, and generation of structured follow-up actions for stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, trackers, SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge repositories to improve operational visibility, handover readiness, and long-term sustainability of Capacity teamwork processes.
  • Collaborate with Industrial Engineering stakeholders, module owners, and cross-functional users to gather business requirements, validate solutions, collect feedback, and support adoption of new digital workflows.
  • Other Responsibilities: Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
  • Required Qualifications: Education - Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
  • Must be in good academic standing.
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Nice to Have

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, structured tables, and basic dashboard creation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform technologies such as Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, or Microsoft Lists.
  • Basic knowledge of programming, scripting, or database concepts such as Python, VBA, SQL, or similar technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in process optimization, digital transformation, and practical business process improvement.
  • Experience or strong interest in using AI-assisted productivity tools to summarize information, improve workflows, support documentation, or enhance decision-making.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and document processes in a clear, structured, and user-friendly manner.
  • Expected Internship Outcomes Contribute to at least one functional enhancement, prototype, or workflow module for the CWCM Input Lifecycle Platform.
  • Deliver one or more practical automation or reporting improvements that reduce repetitive manual effort for the Capacity team.
  • Create reusable documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials to support long-term solution ownership and team sustainability.
