What You'll Do
- Support resource conservation project tracking and reporting with a focus on GF’s ISO, RBA, ESG, and corporate objectives , including greenhouse gas reductions, chemical reduction projects, water conservation, and landfill avoidance.
- Assist the Regional Environmental team with improving process documentation, developing metrics that demonstrate program health, and general business controls for the region.
- Partner with manufacturing, facilities, logistics , and quality teams to identify new opportunities and projects that further contribute to regional environmental objectives and goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support EHS&S activities.
- Other Responsibilities: Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
- Required Qualifications: Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in environmental science, chemistry, or any engineering discipline or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
- Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal) Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

- Prior related internship or co-op experience Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
- Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.
- Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong planning & organizational skills Interest in environmental management systems, environmental regulatory requirements, and sustainability programs.
