What You'll Do
- Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions Draft content for social media posts (internal & external) and digital displays Assist in developing and editing draft communications, including talking points, presentations and intranet articles Assist in developing and production of videos to communicate GF’s manufacturing solutions and global collaboration Support the global roll out of GF’s employee communications campaigns Provide administrative and logistical support for employee communications campaigns and events Support team reporting and metrics activities Other Responsibilities: Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs .
- Project Outcome: In this project supporting the APAC Communication team, the intern will gain: Experience in developing compelling content for global audiences across a variety of channels Visibility into the inner workings of a global Corporate Communications organization Ownership of concrete deliverables Opportunity to learn a wide range of business-relevant skills, including program management, messaging, audience engagement, events, and social media Required Qualifications: Education - Actively pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Communications , Public Relations or related Business degree Strong written, social media and verbal communication skills Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas with diverse and global audiences Skilled in Microsoft O365 applications Must be in good academic standing.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
- Available for a 16– 24 week credit-bearing internship commencing January 2027.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of PR concepts and practices – experience interning at a PR agency is a plus Graphic design and/or video editing capabilities Prior related internship or co-op experience Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
- Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.
