Sr Principal Software Engineer

What You'll Do

• Design, build, troubleshoot, and debug state‑of‑the‑art EDA software features and services.
• Scale performance across runtime, memory footprint, and CPU/GPU utilization to support next‑generation, large‑scale designs.
• Analyze advanced layout cross‑sections and translate insights into robust algorithms and product features.
• Deliver innovative, customer‑centric solutions by leveraging and extending existing tool capabilities.
• Drive process excellence: define improvements, manage schedules and dependencies, and own deliverables end‑to‑end.
• Apply ML/AI techniques to automate workflows and improve engineering productivity and quality.
• Collaborate globally with R&D, Product Engineering (PE), and Application Engineering (AE); mentor junior engineers and foster best practices.
• Qualifications BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics Experience and Technical Skills required 15+ years of software development experience in electronic circuits/EDA/layouts.
• Strong programming skills (C++, SKILL, AI programming platform) Good understanding of an electronic circuit/parasitic/EM/thermal analysis will be a plus.
