What You'll Do

  • The primary responsibilities of this role include: Drive customer engagements: Prepare and present Cadence cloud portfolio to customers, work with field sales reps and propose solution types and advise sales.
  • Business development: Prepare relevant collateral and train the global field organization on various solutions, support customer meetings, evaluate sales opportunities and advise field sales.
  • Lead marketing campaigns and business development initiatives to develop pipeline for Cloud Enable cloud-based products, roadmaps and business models: Support the operationalization of new business models by working with cross functional teams Cloud partnership development & management: Assist in management of domain partner relationships and programs.
  • Present the company portfolio at partner events.
  • Support Organization Coordination: Working with key stakeholders from marketing, legal, finance, sales ops, IT in the definition, creation and support of programs to enable end-to-end market requirements Job Qualifications: Degree in Engineering or computer science required 10+ years of experience in business development / direct & indirect sales/ product management in EDA/Systems/PLM domains 10+ years of experience in developing and executing Go-to-market plans for new technologies and disruptive SaaS platform products 5+ years of experience in program management, and operationalization of new cloud-based products Strong technical and business knowledge of SaaS technologies, cloud computing and cloud services, deployment models in mechanical and electronic design segments Experience developing business models for cloud computing in the engineering domain Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully influence customers and peers at an executive level Strong experience working with key decision makers and customers, ecosystem partners, sales, engineering and IT to drive success in the marketplace Proven track record of driving business development of Cloud based products and delivering to customers Additional Skills/Preferences: Working knowledge of computational mechanics tools in the EDA and/or PLM domains MBA (Masters in Business Administration) is a plus Understanding of tools & flows for PCB design, Multiphysics modeling and simulation, end-to-end mechanical and electronic design industry processes is a plus Experience working with customers in a variety of verticals such as high-tech, semi-conductors, hyperscale, automotive, aerospace & defense, industrial at the enterprise level Ability to work effectively with diverse teams of internal and external partners and customers Ability to synthesize unstructured data and present recommendations successfully to senior management Ability to translate customer and industry requirements and trends into product roadmaps, solutions, and business growth Additional Information: Cadence is committed to equal employment opportunity and employment equity throughout all levels of the organization.
