Software Engineer II

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement new algorithms and methodologies to enhance simulation and cost estimation capabilities Translate engineering concepts into robust, production-ready software features Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate new approaches and validate performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new capabilities into the software platform Skills/Experience Strong programming skills in Python, QT, C++, VBA Proficient experience in using VS Studio, VS code, git and azure DevOps as development environment and debugging.
• Hands on working experience in Agile development methodologies.
• AI-native mindset with experience using modern AI tools and techniques in development workflows Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities Self-driven, curious, and eager to explore new technologies and methodologies Qualifications Master’s degree in: Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related), Applied Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering or Computer Science Preferred (Nice to Have): Knowledge of metal forming processes Familiarity with finite element methods (FEM) and simulation techniques Experience with numerical methods or physics-based modeling Soft Skills Strong team collaboration skills using MS Teams and Zoom Clear and effective English communication (written, verbal and presentation) Self-driven, curious, and eager to explore new technologies and methodologies What You Will Gain Hands-on experience in advanced simulation software development Opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering physics, algorithms, and AI-driven workflows Exposure to real-world industrial applications in manufacturing and design We’re doing work that matters.
