Configuration Management Engineer II

About This Role

• We are looking for an exceptional Configuration Management Engineer, to work in a team supporting a world-class multi-million-line product, supporting an engineering team of hundreds of engineers, and managing a build/test infrastructure spanning thousands of lines of infrastructure code, thousands of machines and millions of tests.
• Having working experience in Configuration Management of large projects (large code and test bases, multi-sited, hundreds of users) Exposure to one or more of Perforce/git/Mercurial/CVS/RCS/ClearCase as an admin Expertise on build tools and SCM processes. - Scripting skills at the level of an expert Using one or more of Shells/Python/Perl. - UNIX expertise – as user and (preferably) admin Additional Job Description Additionally, we would be delighted if our person has these additional skills/experience Exposure/expertise in HTML, CSS, Java script (&Frameworks) and AJAX Understanding/use of Relational and Flat Database systems (MySQL/Mongo/Cassandra) Exposure to tools such as Coverity, Valgrind, Purify, Quantify, gcov, gprof, Sanitizers Soft skills: - Excellent problem-solving skills - Good communication skills (verbal/written) - Ability to work/collaborate in a team and with people/teams - Ability to multi-task between complex projects and operational requests - Aptitude to learn new technologies rapidly Education: BTech / M.
